Westley Court Apartments stand in almost 9 acres of Worcestershire countryside in the parish of Cookley, Kidderminster looking out to Clent on the one side and Kinver Edge on the other.

Each apartment is privately owned, the development is self-managed by Westly Court Management LTD, a company whose shareholders are the apartment owners.

The residents lounge is spacious and comfortably furnished, with a licenced bar. A hot lunch can be provided daily if required, in the dining area. This lounge is used for social events such as a film evening, quizzes, talks and various celebrations.

Many services are provided, including newspapers, milkman, a hairdresser, a chiropodist, the Mobile Library and a fresh fish van weekly.


The apartments are on four floors, serviced by two lifts. There are seventy-two one or two bedroom apartments, which have fitted wardrobes and cupboards. Each apartment has all electric heating, with an additional backup immersion heater. All windows are double-glazed, and walls are insulated. Lounges and kitchens are open plan, and each apartment has a beautiful view.


Security is paramount, with a reception desk manned 24-hours-a-day throughout the year. CCTV cameras operate internally and externally throughout the common areas of the complex. Entrances to the buildings are secured at all times and visitors report to reception before entry.


The organisation and running of the complex is such that apartment owners live completely independent lives but knowing they can access the services, facilities and entertainment on offer if they so wish - the choice is theirs.

It is place where people can choose between being part of a social community or retire to their own apartment.


Westley Court is situated in nine acres of Worcestershire countryside, 17 miles from Birmingham and 16 from Worcester, on the A449, two miles north of Kidderminster.

We are an independent building with each owner being a shareholder, electing directors to manage the building and the staff involved. It is run by a management company and is a rather unique setup which can adapt to the changing needs and aspirations of residents.
